Professional Flat-Pack Assembly in East Algarve
As of November 2026, furniture assembly in Tavira is priced per piece (e.g. €45 for a chest of drawers) or by the hour, at €50 for the first hour and €40 for each hour after it.
Building flat-pack furniture seems straightforward until you face missing alignment dowels, complex door hinge adjustments, or unstable wall fixings. In Portuguese properties built with hollow terracotta brick (tijolo furado), securing tall wardrobes or TV wall units requires specialized rawlplugs to prevent tipping or sagging over time.
What we assemble:
- Wardrobes & Closets: IKEA PAX systems, sliding doors, hinge adjustments, and internal drawers.
- Beds & Bedroom Furniture: Ottoman storage beds, frame beds, bedside tables, and chests of drawers.
- Living & Dining: TV units (BESTÅ/LACK), sideboards, dining tables, chairs, and bookcases.
- Office & Outdoor: Desks, ergonomic chairs, garden lounge sets, and storage sheds.
Crucial Safety Step: Anti-Tip Anchorage
Tall units like IKEA PAX or Billy bookcases pose a safety risk if unanchored. Standard plastic plugs supplied in flat-pack boxes often spin freely inside hollow brick walls. We carry specialized heavy-duty hollow brick fixings and chemical plugs to ensure your furniture remains solidly attached to the structural wall.
